Here’s how to prepare for them.
Make sure to apply on time
Make sure you’ve applied for your supplementary exams on time, otherwise you may miss your chance to do them. The new supplementary exams will now be available during May/June of this year, and the closing date for applications is the 31st of January 2020.
When applying, you’ll need to fill out a form and provide documentation to prove your reasons for applying. Be sure to include everything that has been asked for in your application, and ask a trusted adult such as a teacher or parent to help you with this process if you get stuck.
Make a plan
Next, it’s time to make a list of all the subjects you’ll be re-writing, and evaluate what your weak spots are for each. Make a plan based on your study notes and exam breakdowns from last year. Identify any sections that you may need additional help with.
This is also the time for you to create a study timetable for yourself. Plan out when you’ll be studying which subjects, and how you’ll go about tackling each section.
Gather resources
Useful resources such as study notes, online resources and most importantly, past papers will help you prepare for the supplementary exams.
