Springtime is finally here, and even though the country is in level 2 lockdown, that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the new season. Here are 5 ideas to have fun this Spring, safely and responsibly.
Get outdoors
Now that parks and other recreational spots are open to the public, you’ve got a chance to get outdoors and get some fresh air while appreciating nature. This could be as simple as taking a walk in a park, or going for a hike. Just remember to stay safe any time you leave home, and take note of the lockdown regulations still in place.
Do some spring cleaning
Nothing is quite as refreshing as giving your living space a proper spring clean. There’s something liberating about giving or throwing away things you no longer use, and making your space bright and enjoyable to be in. It can also be fun to include your family in this as well. You’ll be able to spend time together and do something that’ll make everyone feel more comfortable at home.
Give yourself a makeover
Who says you need an occasion to get all dressed up? Giving yourself a makeover is a fun way to update your style, and get into the new season. Start by pampering yourself with a face mask, mani/pedi or bubble bath. Then, put on your fave outfit complete with accessories and perfume. Finally, you can snap some pics for fun or to share to your Insta!
Do some photography
Now that the weather is warmer, a fun outdoor activity you could do is photography. You can use a camera or your phone, and take photos everywhere from the garden, to the park or just around town. Photography is a great way to notice the little things that you find interesting or beautiful, and the sunshine can make for great lighting- especially at sunrise, afternoon and sunset!
Enjoy some music
While you may not be able to attend a concert or festival any time soon, this doesn’t mean that you should put the music you love on pause. Listening to some feel-good jams in the springtime is such a fun way to de-stress and enjoy the nice weather. If you need some suggestions, here’s our springtime playlist that’s all about celebrating new beginnings. Don’t forget to dance and sing along too!
Spring is all about new beginnings and fresh perspectives. Give yourself permission to let loose and enjoy the little things this season. Have fun!
