Having to juggle work and keeping yourself safe during a pandemic can be stressful. While you’re taking the necessary precautions like sanitising your hands, disinfecting surfaces regularly, avoiding physical contact and wearing masks, it’s also important to keep your body healthy whether you’ve tested positive for the virus or not. Here are a couple of cupboard essentials to help you do that.

Vitamin C

During the winter season, it’s good to have Vitamin C tablets or fizzy tabs on hand. Vitamin C helps with the formation of white blood cells, which help fight off infections and boost the body’s immunity. While, there’s no evidence that this can help fight COVID-19, it’s good to give your immune system a boost and help you avoid infections like colds and flu.

Herbal teas

Herbal teas have antioxidants and vitamins that can help you fend off infections, while aiding in digestion. Teas such as chamomile can also help you deal with stress and anxiety, which are things a lot of us are struggling with during this time.

Ginger, lemon, honey

If you’re looking to strengthen your digestive system during the pandemic (or any other time), this is the perfect concoction. Whether you use ginger tea and lemon juice or an actual lemon with fresh ginger root and honey, this mixture is still very effective. The best part about this is that these products are easily accessible and affordable, plus since each product has its own effect on the body, the mixture fights many different illnesses while keeping you hydrated.

Lennon drops

There are quite a lot of different Lennon products, each of them serving a different purpose. But if you ever find yourself with a cold or flu, their drops are a good place to start.
